Music is the soul of New Orleans.  So it was truly special when a recent group of Learning Across America students touring the city with their teacher encountered Derek Shezbie, a Grammy award winning artist whose music celebrates the wonders of New Orleans.  Watch the video to get a sense of this very unique city and the many gracious and talented individuals who call it home.
